A good friend of my fathers when he lived in Rogers AR.
I'm sure that Heaven has fishing lakes and I believe St Peter handed Uncle Homer a bait caster, spinning rig & tackle box when he entered the gates. I miss reading his articles. He's a legend. May God bless each of you.- John Shepherd(Lesage,WV)
I read many many articles and books by Uncle Homer about catching Bass and fishing. He had a way with giving information that stuck with you. I will miss his wit and fishing wisdom. When I catch that big one or pick up my fly rod to bug for bluegills or bass I will always have him in my memories and I will always say thanks UNCLE HOMER for all that you introduced and informed me about in the Angling World and thanks for contributing to a portion of my life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
