Still missing you Jack. My best to the family.
May 21, 2010
There was no one that moved me more in the ring than Jack Brisco. Anyone who knows me always heard me talk about the style and humility of Jack Brisco. One of the greatest moments on my life was when Mr. Brisco sent me a autographed photo by a friend of mine who went to Cauliflower Alley a couple of years ago. It took me this long to write this becasue as an independent wrestler, this man was one of the reason's I became a part of this business. With all of the stuff and things that go on in pro wrestling it was good to know that there are a few people like Jack Brisco around that keep you reminded of the greatness of this sport and help you not get bothered by what people say about you and do to you. Mr. Brisco, thank you for your talent, your love and your respect for this business, In my eyes you will forever be the greatest World Champion ever. May God bless your family and friends and the fans of this man, an icon in every way. I bid you farewell with much love and respect.

My concolences to the Brisco family. I had the priviledge of seeing Jack and Jerry wrestle in person on many occasions in the '70s. Always the gentlemen and fan favorites, they showed you can play fair and win at your craft. I had the honor of getting a signed autograph photo when Jack wrestled at the Dade City Armory. I loved wrestling as a child in part to the Brisco brothers.
Rest In Peace Jack. Wrestling has lost a great hero. You have left behind a wonderful legacy.
April 17, 2010
I watched you wrestle as a kid. You were my favorite.

Every time any person stands in the ring, they are seen as beeing over 6 feet taller than they realy are. that is becuse today's workers are standing on some very tall shoulders. We have lost so man of the young ones that the greats of the biz never really get thier appropriate due. I have said my prayers for those amazing shoulders that will be every hard to top.

I lived in Bay Pointe Apts in the early 70s. I met Jack as he was living there also. He was a great and gentle man. At one point my brother Paul and I were related to Jack by an earlier marriage, and I have vivid memories of Jack picking me up and twirling me around. I have thought of him often in the last 30 years. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

I had met Jack many years ago in the 70's. He was a great person and I don't think he ever met a stranger. He was so friendly to everyone and he seemed to remember you whenever you saw him from there on, whether in his wrestling or at their body shop or on the street. Rest In Peace Jack and may God richly bless your family.

I met Jack at Wrestlemania 2 years ago as I escorted Mae Young there. Mae introduced me to Jack and Jerry and we became immediate friends. Since I was from Sand Springs and remembered well the Blackwell tornado, we had great conversations about many Oklahoma events. Lots of good OSU stories too. How precious for someone so special to treat me like I was special too. I will forever remember his kindness. He understood what being a true CHAMPION really meant. May His Eternal Reward be more than he could have ever dreamed possible. He will be sorely missed.
February 04, 2010
Jack Brisco was the most talented wrestler and nicest people ever. I can still remember how excited I was when he won the NWA title. I enjoyed Gordon Solie ("So long from the Sunshine State"), Eddie Graham and Jack and Jerry Brisco. I know Jack Brisco was more than a wrestler to the people who knew him personally. I did not have that honor, so I can only comment on that part of his life that I watched. He also had an incredibly cute brother who I adored from afar.
February 04, 2010
Our prayers are with the Brisco family at this difficult time. May God give you comfort and peace.
February 04, 2010

February 02, 2010
Jack was my hero growing up in Miami. He was a class act in so many ways. He was a natural athlete that turned his gifts and talents into a gift for all of us in the glory days of Wrestling. He was never too proud to talk to his fans, and never thought highly of himself. He knew he was good and had nothing to prove. And he was good. In my opinion he is the best that ever wore the NWA Title in modern times. As I type this I am looking at a photo of him with the belt that he autographed to me for my birthday. My prayers are with the Briscos - Jan, Jerry, Barbara and the kids. He was the best there could be.
February 02, 2010
I am saddened by the passing of Jack. It has been a longtime, but I remember it well. My godfather Eddie Graham intruduced me to him way back in the 70's, it was a great experience for me and I will forget it. I am still a fan for his. The ver best to his family.
February 02, 2010
Jack Brisco was a Gentleman's Gentleman in our profession. He always took the time to bring out the very best in you. I will always treasure the trips we had in the Old Amarillo Territory in 1973. I am proud of what you did with my life just being a good friend to me.
When I am called to that great ring in the sky, Tag me in and open those ropes for me.
Rest in Peace my Friend.
February 02, 2010
My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family. I had the honor of meeting Jack several years ago, when he came to see the Doctor I work for, right then and there we became friends. I am now 56 but grew up in Miami and saw many Jack Brisco matches growing up. It was always a treat when Jerry came to the territiory too. We never missed the Dory Funk Jr. matches but one of the best was a Texas Death match against Dory Funk SR. His matches with the late Dale Lewis, Mr Saito and Paul Jones were just some I recall. He was so open and friendly and always had time to talk outside the locker rooms in Miami Beach or Ft. Lauderdale National Guard Armory on a Friday night. I was so pleased to see them in Orlando at WrestleMania and both be recognized for their professional wrestling accomplishments. I must add that he was my inspiration to start working out and that continues to this day. I could go on as very sad since yesterday. My prayers are with the family and I hope you find peace in this difficult time. We will miss you Jack but will never forget.
February 02, 2010

My condolences to Jack's family and the wrestling family that knew this man over the years. It was an honor to wrestle him and work out with him back in 1970. His graciousness is something I will always remember. His ability is something no one could ever forget.

JAN I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU MARSHA
February 02, 2010
In the early seventies, my mother Betty Parsons, a librarian and school teacher developed a suprising passion for following the sport of professional wrestling after meeting Jack and Jerry Brisco and several other pro wrestlers of that era. As a pre-teen, I don't know if I fully appreciated the chance to see many of these great athletes at the Armory or Sportatorium when my mom took me and my sister Sarah with her as she cheered them on from her front row seats. Seemed like such an exciting dichotomy to me, these really nice guys I was introduced to who were whirling demons in the ring. I lost touch many years ago with that time and those people but I recall those times fondly and can now appreciate how lucky I was to experience many golden moments in the history of pro wrestling. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jan and the Bricso family and the many fans, past and present who feel this loss. Rest in Peace Jack Brisco.

Jack provided many years of entertainment in the wrestling arena. He was never to busy to sign an autograph or speak with a fan. He will be greatly missed! Thanks to his family for sharing him with us...his loyal fans.

Jack Brisco was trully a legend, mentor, hero, husband, father, and a great man. I grew up in Ybor City and every Tuesday night my father would take me to the armory to watch true Gladiators defend the title they earned. May God bless the Briscoe family during this time of sadness. Say Hi to Gordon, Andre, and Owen. Rest in Pease Jack You have earned it.

In 1978 I was in 2nd grade at Tampa Bay Elem., I paid $5.00 for a Jack Brisco polaroid picture from a classmate ( big bucks in 78). He was one of the legends of Tuesday Night Matches at The Armory . My friends and I still talk about those matches, Thanks for all the memories. Those were the days, rest in peace. Ryan Rodriguez

I remember going to the armory with my dad every Tuesday night to see Jack wrestle. Of all the wrestlers that came from that era Jack always was my favorite. Even today when reminiscing with friends about wrestling in the 70's Jack is remembered by everyone.

A very great wrestler will be missed greatly. He helped wrestling get where it is at now with the great matches with Harley Race and Dory Funk. That was wrestling. May the LORD bless his family.

We went to see you many a time at the armory and the sportatorium where they filmed the TV matches. Your matches are still very vivid in my memory to this very day. You helped put wrestling on the map. My condolences to the Brisco family.

Our most sincere condolences in the loss of Jack. I can remember watching Championship Wrestling from Florida and the highlight was always handsome Jack and his brother as they took on the world. My son and his grandfather spent many Saturdays watching him and when Sean was in high school he was a wrestler himself. Jack was a great example and he will be greatly missed. Heaven has a strong new Angel amongst them tonight.
