Dear Allen Family: I wish to add my condolences and heartfelt wishes to you on Josh's passing. Josh was a student in the first steel design class I taught at UF - he was part of a group of bright, confident students who always studied hard but they lived full lives filled with laughter and concern for each other. This was a special class to me. Joshua is a true Gator and I speak for the entire faculty in saying we were very sad to hear of his this tragic loss. Though short, his life will not be forgotten for the joy he brought to others.

My condolences go to the Allen family. I had the pleasure of knowing Josh while studying at UF, and we continued to remain close friends after graduation. I will never be able to find adequate words to describe what a caring, happy, and truly wonderful person Josh was and how thankful I am to have him in my life. I will always remember him and keep his memory alive in my heart. I will continue to pray for your family during this difficult time.

I didn't know Joshua. He was a friend and relative of my friends. My heart goest out to the family and friends.

My dear nephew...the loss we feel is beyond words. How can words describe how we feel. I read this and have it hanging in my house and it so applys to you...this is for you. "Life is not measured by the anount of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away". You had many of those moments and lived a full 24 years, not long enfough but it gives me some comfort it was a life full of moments. Love you josh....your aunt tammy.
