I was so glad Phyllis made our last family reunion in 2010. She had a wonderful time and connected with so many of us! She was really looking forward to the next reunion but we had to cancel it. I enjoyed her FB posts because she enjoyed life and it showed! I will miss seeing her! God bless her and the family.
Cousin Phyllis is home with her Lord and Savior and her loving Father, our Uncle Art...you are dearly missed and loved by many many people??
Phyllis and I were students at Nathan Weeks Jr. High School in Des Moines, IA. We were lucky to have her join the Triple Trio singing group when one of our girls was out of the country.
We renewed our friendship after many years through our mutual friend, Kim Slone, with whom I had been pen-pals with for 30 years.
When Kim passed away unexpectedly in Jan, 2012 Phyllis was there to collect me, comfort me, and share so many wonderful memories in Valrico, FL. She was one of the kindest, most genuine and caring people I've ever known.
Phyllis and I kept in touch and she was often sad over the loss of Kim. That's why the early and untimely death of Phyllis made me think how Kim would be waiting for her.
And, the dolphins being present in the Florida water that day does make me think Phyllis really was OK. Love you!
To the Kalinowski Family,
We can't even imagine the pain and tremendous loss you have suffered.
Phyllis was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Altho I didn't have the chance to get to know you on a more personal level outside training with you and being involved in the 3-day your smile always radiated brighter than the sun. May you RIP Phyllis.. My condolences to the family... God bless...
