Dear Alex, Linda and I were shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. Bills commitment and energy led to the success of the Downtown Partnership and United Way. I was fortunate to work closely with him in both these efforts and was impressed with his dedication in any task he accepted. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. God Bless.

I will miss my friend. He was my hero and I told him so. We met in 1985 at Tampa Chamber. When I was thinking of running for Tax Collector he said I'll support you. When he was running for Governor and came to Dade City and said so many nice things about me I reminded him he was running for Governor not me. I still have his bumper sticker on my truck. This is a terrible loss for our State and Community and for me. May his gifts to us never be forgotten. To Alex and the kids this comes at a difficult time of the year but he was where he wanted to be. I'm in Utah but my heart and thoughts are with you. May God bless you and give you peace.
