I remember watching Jack when I was a teenager. Much later in life I had the honor of being his mail carrier in Odessa. He was as nice a person as he was a great wrestler. He and his wife were great customers. I also delivered mail to his brother, Jerry. My belated sympathies go to the Brisco families.

Just a great American. Has left here and looking down waiting in heaven on his family and fans with Jesus.

Brisco was the greatest wrestler of his generation in Oklahoma. He was 3-time state champion at heavyweight in high school, and never lost a match. I saw him wrestle againt Dave Adams of Will Rogers HS--a great grappler himself, and bigger than Brisco. We on the Rogers team were amazed at Brisco'S phenomenal speed and strength. He was as quick as a 125 pounder. He was simply unbeatable. That was in 1959. I never took professional wrestling seriously. He was the first world champion since McGirk who actually deserved the distinction. Rest in peace, Jack.

I remember Jack Brisco wrestling Dory Funk, Jr. in Greensboro, N.C. at the Greensboro Colesium. I was about 14 years old. My dad and I always thought he was the greatest wrestler. Many precious memories. May God bless and comfort your family. Steve Haynes, Danville, Va.

So sorry to hear about Jack. I would go to the Tampa Armory to watch him and Jerry wrestle along with Dusty and so many more. He was a great wrestler he will be missed by many. Rest in Peace and may God bless his family. Terrie from Dallas who used to live in Tampa for a long time.
