To the Kocab family: May the comfort from family and friends strengthen you during this difficult time, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Kocab Family,
We are so sorry for all the loss that you are experiencing right now. I know that it warms our hearts that Daddy and Lily are in each other arms right now. We can never imagine the pain that you are going through! But we are here for you whenever you need!

My heart aches thinking about the pain the wives of these fine men have endured, along with the rest of their families. I am so sorry for your loss although you have heard it daily now for almost 2 months. I pray your family can smile bright again & keep these men in your hearts. Sara, you are such a strong woman, you have an army behind you supporting you. I could never imagine carrying the weight you 2 women now carry & still be as strong as you both are, for you two are also now looked at as heroes. Your husbands no longer feel pain, just love now as they look upon you. Know they are still by your sides telling you to be happy, and smile. My whole heart goes out to you & your children. Lily Nicole is in Daddy's arms now, the safest place for her to be. God bless you all, continue to be strong...RIP boys

Dearest Sarah, My heart goes out to you at this trying time. Losing your wonderful husband and then precious Lilly can only be explained by God. We all ask " Why". I hope in your heart that you know that Lilly is in Jeffery's arms, and that gives you some comfort. I wish you the best in the future.
Love and Prayers.

To the Curtis and Kocab families we offer our deepest condolences. Losing a dear loved one so suddenly and tragically is never easy. May you find comfort in your precious memories of them and "in the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort".

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your young child. I pray every day that my husband returns home safe as he is a federal employee. I am so sorry for your loss...remember to make sure your child knows how much of a hero his father was and how much he loved the child even before that child was born!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My Blessings are with you Sara...you have endured so much...no one person should have to go through what you have.
My brother was a police officer with Plant City and worked with your husband Jeffrey. And I as well knew your husband...such a wonderful guy!
He will surely be missed but know that he is in HEAVEN watching over you and holding Lily Nicole close to him as well.
May GOD Bless you with such a peace and understanding and hold you close.

Dear Mrs. Kocab,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. In heaven, God has made a special place for His "little" children. They swim and play in the river of life and each drop of water makes a beautiful note. The mountains sing and the light of God never grows dim. Your precious ?Lilly and her ?daddy are always with you. May God give restore your peace and joy for better days to come.

To the wife and children of Officer Curtis, We did not know you, but work in the law enforcement community as well. We are very sorry for the loss of your husband and Father. I cannot imagine the pain that you must endure each day without him. God will see you through this time and will be with you always. If anyone wants to see a picture of true heroes, look no further than these two courageous young men who through a senseless act gave their lives. We send you our love and continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.

Sarah, Your faith in our Lord will guide you through these dark days. Let the light of Him shine through your grief. You have the hope and the security in knowing that precious Lily Nicole is laying in the nursery in Paradise with Jesus and Jeffrey there to hold her. I believe that Jeffrey went ahead knowing that his precious child was not going to have life here on earth but have the greater life of eternity with Jesus. He went ahead to hold her as he had wanted to do. You too will hold that precious, beautiful girl some day when your family is reunited with Jesus in eternity. Your grief and sadness will only be for a short while compared to the joy you will have with them forever. My sympathy to you in your loss and my joy that you are a sister in Christ and you have the confidence of where your family is and where you will be. God will hold your hand through this...lean on Him. Phil 4:13
