Coach Kelly,
We've had the honor of having our children coached by you for 3 years. Our children loved competitive swimming because of your dedication and love for the sport. You were a great role model and often told them that swimming was a journey. The lessons you gave in the pool were always applicable to "dry land". We remember how you liked Starbucks coffee in the mornings, your interesting stories and how you would pace up and down the pool encouraging the swimmers to swim during practice and meets. You lived for your swimmers. You were a huge part of our children's lives. You are missed dearly and will always be remembered.

To Jean, Scott and Lynn,I never got to meet Kelley, but I have great admiration and respect for all he did for "his kids". You have our deepest sympathy and prayers. Aunt Jackie & Uncle Terry.

A prayer for your family:
As the rain first falls and it flows away,
first you'll feel and then forget your pain.
Now your heart it feels like an open wound;
once so full of life and joy now an empty room.

God's eye is on the sparrow and sees your darkest night;
you will not be left comfortless, for you are God's delight.

To Kelley's Family, Our family grew up poolside with Coach Kelley as we mirrored Kelley's time at CAT, at Prep and at Westchase. That's a lot of shared water and deck time! Kelley was the same passionate coach with all his kids. Always positive, always encouraging and with boundless energy. KAh20 lives on in our heart and minds! May the grace of God be with you all as you endure the tragedy of Kelley's passing and the beauty that was his life.

Along with many others, we are finding it very difficult to come to terms with the loss of Coach Kelley. With no other relatives here in Florida, he became a much loved and important role model to our son Harrison. Thank you Coach Kelley for being such an inspirational and caring mentor to all of our children.

Kelley came to Westchase at a time when we needed him the most. He won the hearts of everyone with his dedication and diligence on deck. He was proud of his swimmers and called them "His Kids" and likewise his kids were proud to have him as their coach. We thank the Lord for the time we got to have him with our children and know that he has made an immense positive impact on their lives. Rest in Peace Kelley. We will miss him. Love, Lauren, Austin, Rachel and Trae Sellers

Coach Kelley We always loved seeing you on deck with all your swimmers. Your dedication to life was so immense, sincere, and so much fun to see and be part of. You inspired all of us with your enthusiasm and caring. I cannot find he right words to express how sad I feel, but only know we were honored and privileged to know you. We love you and will always miss you.

Kelly was a great friend of mine and my family. I haven't seen Kelly in long time but his influence on my life as a young child will never be forgotten. He taught me to love the water and is the reason I ever became a surfer. To me, Kelly was the cool older surfer dude that I wanted to emulate. Thank you for everything Kelly! You will be missed. RIP.

The swimming world lossed a great coach, man, friend and mentor. Kelley's hopes and dreams will live on with all those that he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Allen family and his swimming family during this rough time. God Bless...
