~ For My Dearly Beloved Sister ~

Oh beautiful girl where have you gone
Asleep until the break of dawn
The dawn of life, of hope and peace
Of everlasting great release
From this world’s mourning, out-cry and pain
To the “Real Life”….A promise regained
Until then, I’ll hope and I’ll pray
You are resurrected into Jah’s day
A day of love, laughter and life
Free from sorrows, sadness and strife
So sleep for now you beautiful girl
I hope to see you in the NEW WORLD!

I think about you everyday, if even for a moment. I miss you sooo much. I wish you could be around to watch my girls grow up as well as the rest of the kids in the family. Your passing has brought alot of you that is inside me come to the surface. I just wanted to say that I LOVE YOU and i miss you.

This is a poem Laura's niece Cynthia Fowler wrote.

The beauty of her smile
The oceans in her eyes
Made the world more beautiful
..and oceans never die.

All know the battlefield that she concealed inside
But along with flesh and bone, all her wars have died.
She couldn’t clearly see, the value of herself
Desperately longing to be someone and somewhere else.
But her heart is a book, locked and lost
So no one can judge her or determine the cause.
We remember only the beautiful soul that she was.
And know that she is resting, just asleep.
Tucked safely away in gods memory
Where hearts are open books, and he can read them well
He remembers her every heartbeat like every bird that ever fell.
So since her heart’s last wishes are not our books to read
We remember her precious life the way it deserves to be

The beauty of her smile
The Oceans in her eyes
Her pain is dead and gone
But oceans do not die..
