I met the Selmon family back in the 80's . They attended my church St John Baptist on chipco in Tampa, Fl. I was deeply sadened when my sister first text me to tell me he had a stroke and then later that night that he had gone on his journey to be with God. I was devastated. I checked the internet and debated with my sister that he was not gone. I still cant believe it. I remember him as a soft spoken, always smiling and giving person. It was something special, unique and authentic about him. I have not seen him in many years. But I really looked up to him and his family. They all are really nice people. We lost someone really great. Not because of his success but because he was truly a good person. One of a kind. Thats what i remember about Leroy Selmon. Rest In Peace. Love Nichole.

Lee Roy, I can see you now, that kid walking through the front door of 1 Buccaneer Place in the "heat" of winter in shorts - your smile will always burn in my heart - your spirit will be missed yet never forgotten by anyone that came near you. You truly were a benefit to this world. My heart goes out to Clabra, Dewey, and the rest of your family - Pia
