Coach Marcum's accomplishments are part of the historical record of The Arena Football League,as well as the mark he made, these last many seasons,on we,the people of Tampa. Seems like yesterday he was cracking up my brother and I at Winghouse. I enjoyed Tim's wit and sense of humor. My thoughts go out to his Shelly, and,of course,Austin. Coach was always a winner.

My dearest sympathies to Michelle, Lynn and the rest of the families. I will never forget Tim because he kicked my ego when I needed it and inspired me to always try harder. As A nurse I was ready to change fields. He quickly kicked me in the right direction and said, " you know kiddo, life is a dance you just got to find the right steps, and keep on trucking, most of all smile it makes folks wonder what your up to and never let them kick you down, you are a wonderful nurse and I might need you someday". I used to get my best chuckles from him. Always kept me in stitches. He also made sure that my terminally ill step dad john who loved the storm always sat with them to eat or made time for him when he was in Brandon. Tim truly cared about people. Behind that game face was a loving, caring wonderful man. He always made time for people especially if he knew they were ill or dying. With his Gestures it kept my step dad out of bed and smiling a little longer. thank you Tim. I missed him when he left the storm. I miss the early years as well with the old gang with Woody, Tim, myself and of course with his favorite guy at Nukes Jack. I know his pep talks and encouragement kept me smiling and always laughing. thank you Tim for always being a wonderful friend and of course the best dedicated darn coach the Arena leaque ever had the pleasure of seeing!
God bless you in your new journey. Much love and light to you all

Thanks for all of the great memories coach! I still remember and often retell the story of the best quote I ever heard from you: Arena Football, what a helluva way to make a living!"
I am so glad to have known you and I will miss you and the Detroit Drive but the memories that remain are priceless. My deepest condolences to Tim's family
