There are not enough words to describe this true Southern gentlemen known to the world as Reece Smith. What a blessing to have known him for so many years at Carlton Fields. He was a giant in the legal profession; he was my friend.

A true southern gentleman that I will greatly miss . . . especially his welcoming and warm smile! I had the honor and wonderful experience to work with him 3.5 yrs with The Florida Classic Association, Inc. while he served as the Chairman of the Board. He was a true, great leader, and not just in Tampa Bay . . . one loved and respected! I will cherish the memories and many notes and letters he sent to me in support of my career. May he rest in peace. He will be missed greatly by many. Prayers to all his family and many friends for this huge loss! Linda M. Snyder

Mr. Smith was always very pleasant regardless of who you are. I will miss our "elevator conversations" and wise words. I was blessed to have met such an honorable man.

A dear sweet man. I had the honor of working with him many years ago at Carlton Fields. He had the cleanest shoes in Tampa. "Well done, good and faithful servant, well done..."
