I met BT several years ago when I worked for Byron .my favorite memory of BT was him walking the parking lot picking up pennies I never questioned why ,but it was a joy to watch.it has been a joy , privilege to know the Cooksey family.

I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Cooksey through my Mother-in-law. She and Mr. Cooksey grew up together when Vero Beach was still a young city. When my Mother-in-law passed away, Mr. Cooksey called to extend his sympathies to our family and he mentioned that he felt that her passing could be compared to the loss of a national treasure. I now feel the same -- Mr. Cooksey was one of the most wonderful and gracious people I have ever met. Our sincere condolences to the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Margaret - I am thinking of you and your entire family. Your dad was such a great man and I am very sad to read of his passing. His picture alone brings a smile to my face! Much love and I will talk to you soon.

The Kelso family extends their deepest sympathy to Mrs. Cooksey and family. B.T. was a man of very great character: honest, sincere, patient, friendly, spiritual-and more. He personified the meaning of "A Life Well Lived." He was a true friend to my Dad for over 50 years. He will be so missed by so many. Yes, a truly great man!

BT, it is with sincere gratitude that I thank you for all the help and mentorship you extended to me over the decades. Thanks too for all the good times. You will be missed by all of us who had the good fortune to know you.

You are a credit to your good name, family, country, state, town and profession. While we all grieve, your family is rightly proud of you as are all of us. Good job and good luck in your next journey.
