I just can't put into words what this man meant to me. When my dad was terminally ill, Bonnie and Oscar stood in for my own parents at my wedding. With Oscar giving me away. I still have a picture of the two of us dancing the father daughter dance at my wedding in a frame in my apartment. He was the best boss I have ever had and I was fortunate to work for him for 14 years. Oscar and Bonnie were amazing people who I loved very much. My sincerest love to Stephanie, David, Sydney, Amy and Reid.
I will miss seeing this wonderfully compassionate man driving his golf cart to the "dog park" with his dog Minnie running along side him. I will miss seeing his joy in riding his bike in our community. I will remember calling him Dr. even though he introduced himself as Oscar. He was so humble but I liked to honor his dedication to caring for people. Mostly, I will remember his concern for Bonnie, his wife. Our Mariner Sands community misses Bonnie and now misses Dr. Oscar Lenit very much, too
Thank you all for your heartfelt messages!
Thinking of you all as you celebrate your dad's life.

My sincere condolences to Sydney, Reid, David, Stephanie, Amy and family. Your dad was such a sweet man, and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to know him through Sydney these past several years.
My prayers are with you through this difficult time, but I know that he is happy once again... reunited with your wonderful mother Bonnie.
You will always be remembered and cherished by those you have touched......
Dear children of Dr. Lenit, I probably knew all of you, as a near-neighbor, but I remember Sydney best (as Barbara Boyd's dear friend). I am so sorry that your dad has "left this planet" (as our dad said). It's not easy, but you WILL survive, and you WILL remember him. Diana Boyd Clark
Thank you, Dr. Lenit, for being such a good friend and neighbor. Condolences to the family. Janet Boyd-Deutsch
Oscar Lenit will be greatly missed by his many admiring friends.
