Mrs. Kane and family,

I'm so sad to hear of Mr. Kane's passing. He was a great guy and I always enjoyed spending time with him and your family. It was always apparent to me how much love and respect you all had for him. I know he will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with you today.

Dear Mrs. Kane,
Please accept my sincerest sympathies for your loss. You may remember that Tom hired me, Deuce, at Bear Stearns in 1980, where I worked for Tom until his retirement. I remember Tom with great respect and fondness, and he had a huge impact on me as I grew personally and professionally. He was very good to me, stood by me, and was always supportive. I have thought of him often over the years, remembering his quick smile, his humor, his funny stories, and the good times we had back then.
May I leave you with words that gave me great comfort recently, and that I hope will do the same for you: "He whom you cherished and lost is no longer where he was...he is now wherever you are".
Sincerely,
Alan "Deuce" Kanuk

Dear Mrs. Kane, my longtime friend Mike, Tom, Danny, Maureen, Stephen, Kathy & family,

Please accept our family's prayers, thoughts and condolences. Like your family's many friends, we shared great memories and smiles whenever we shared your Dad's company. You didn't have to know your father long Mike to realize how important his family was to him and how he genuinely cared and enjoyed getting to know the friends of his children. Your Dad is with you every day, in all you do. He is a part of you and always will be. May God bless him always and may your family be blessed with his strength and love.
