It has been one year since you left.
Our lives have gone on
We try to remember the good times
And forget everything else
October 05, 2014
You would have been 83 today.
Your health would'nt have allowed you to enjoy another year
Your family would have been no closer
Your quality of life would not have improved
You would have had another year to endure your pain

Wasn't it better that you went quickly without regret?
I now can remember just the happier times we had
Before you embarked on your downward spiral into misery
Those happier days and years will be my only memories now
March 15, 2014
Sunday March 16 would have been our 40th wedding anniversary.

I try to remember all the good times and happy moments and hope that I and everyone who loved you can do the same.

"The greatest single influence of my life that taught me the meaning of integrity and truth", I will miss you,Love Brian Penick

One's life is shaped by our experiences and interaction with others. The "Phantom" taught us, among many other lessons, the importance of integrity and honesty in everything we do and everyone we deal with in our short lives. Jim was the smartest man I've ever known, and he was right to the end, never losing his sharp wit or infallible memory. We'll miss you.
