Senator Inouye has always been an inspiration to me and many of my generation (the children of "The Greatest Generation"). He is a true American hero and statesman. He will be missed.

I feel a lot, Mr. Inouye, you fought with the 442nd, as my father. A Mr. Inouye I met took care of our yard & eventually getting him home to Japan. I always wanted to write. 442nd won't be forgotten. R.I.P. Good sir.
