Just found this to pay tribute. Blessed and well loved was the legacy of this marvelous lady. She was ever so kind and loving as a patient when I worked for Dr. Thomas P Chase M.D. as a nurse at the Ansonia clinic years ago. She also gave me some great advice. She will remain forever in mine plus many, many hearts .

Very sorry to hear of the passing of my Aunt Leona. Being that she lived close to my Grandma Carol (Trittschuh), we got to visit with she and Harold on occasion when I was a kid. Still remember a monster bluegill I caught in their pond on a cane pole. Aunt Leona and Uncle Harold always seemed larger than life to me, hearing their stories and just being around people of such strong character. She was a great lady who leaves a remarkable legacy.
