So sorry that all of you had to go through this pain. Bill was such a giving person. He started sending me text messages for the past five years or more on every holiday wishing me and my family a happy holiday. That was always my first text of the day, I could never beat him to text him first. I am going to miss hearing from you Billy. Love you, cousin Carol Wengert

Billy was one of the nicest, most sincere, and compassionate person's I have ever known.
He listened intently to anyone who spoke to him, and you felt genuinely cared for in his company.
There is a writing by John Walter Wayland called "The True Gentleman." I would encourage those who knew and loved Billy to look it up, for I believe there are few people who could honestly fit this description. And Billy is one of them.
We will miss Billy dearly. But for those of us blessed to have called him dad, son, grandpa, brother, uncle, nephew, brother-in-law, cousin, friend, etc., his kind spirit will live on in us.
Until we meet again.... my beautiful cousin.... May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I knew him as Big Bill. His boy (Bill) and my son (Joe) grew up together in Covington. Both boys knew home as one house or the other. Big Bill was a significant part of my boy's teen years. I'm glad that he was. R.I.P. Big Bill.

Uncle bull I'm so sorry that this happend to a great man like yourself, you would do anything to help anybody out. You were my greatest teacher and we had so many good times out back cutting wood, having fires, and snow plowing...my greatest memories are of you, grandma, mom, me, and Ben all delivering Saturday and Sunday news papers, drop the tail gate on the truck and you'd drive slowly down fleet as we ran to the houses! Then always bob Evans breakfast afterwards, and church on Sundays...I'd give anything to spend one more morning with you and grandma! I know your in heaven now and all I have is memories, but please know I loved you, and I hope I made you proud, because I'm sure proud you were my uncle...I love you bill and I will see you again
