Zach Sobiech

I just lost my best friend of 42 years to suicide and am walking in his honor in Milwaukee. I had followed Zach's story in 2012 and 2013 up to and subsequent to Zach's tragic passing. Zach did more good on this earth in his short 18 years than most people do in a life time. I was able to interface with his girlfriend, Amy in an e-mail expressing my condolences. My son is in his 3rd year of med school and plans to go into pediatric medicine and I hope, one day, a cure is found for the cancer that tool Zach at such a young age. His songs, including "clouds" touched millions so that Zach's legacy continues. G-d bless Laura, Zach, his dad, his siblings and his friends. He was and continues to be an angel in life and in death and I hope and pray his family is at peace. Regards, Lowell

I have read Lauras beautiful, touching and moving story more than once. I have fallen in love with the whole Sobiech family (especially Zach!) . I too am a catholic mom of four children so I could relate to every thought and feeling that came to Laura . I shed quite a few tears while reading but not all sad. What a beautiful and inspirational family. I thank you for sharing your story and I pray for Zach and your family.

I just love Zach's song, Clouds. I listen to it at work every day. He was such an inspiration with his singing.

God bless Zach and the entire Sobiech Family. Fortunately for mankind Zach continues to teach people that faith hope and love are cornerstones of foundational humanistic existence. Zach played an instrumental role in helping me decide to devote my professional life to medicine. If I help save just one person, Zach's legacy will have saved what God created. What a wonderful person Zack was!! I Lost my best friend, not a child ironically, to the exact cancer Zack had. Reading the book Fly a Little High, was reliving the exact story of Kim! It was healing to me to read his story!!!!
