I met George as a young Trooper 40 yrs ago. We shared laughs then, through the years, and prior to my moving to Naples last fall, as his guest, we shared our last laugh over a round of golf at Mt Pleasant. I also saw the compassionate and serious side of George when appropriate. He spoke proudly of you Darlene and his family our last day together....A good man.... By the way, I did get a chuckle out of the "he liked to bust em" comment in the obituary.....He certainly could! I'll miss that!!!
