I heard him sing at a bar in Miami, Fl. in 1972 or 1973 I remember telling my husband that he song the song great and my husband told me he should because there his song and he told me who he was after that Ferlin Husky came up to me and grab a beer coster from the bar and sign it and gave it to me.I was so shock couldn't say a word but I still have it to this day.R.I.P.

Life is strange. For weeks, I have googled my favorite song, GONE by Ferlin Husky. Being 70 years old now and expecting to follow Ferlin soon, the song brings back the sounds of home. My gosh, what a loss for all of us.I thank God he was a part of my years here on earth.

MARVIS & FAMILY! FOR SOME REASON CHRISTMAS BRINGS MEMORIES OF FERLIN. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF TALKING WITH HIM BETWEEN SHOWS AT THE "FLAME CAFE" IN MINNEAPOLIS. HE WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON. HE ENCOURAGED ME TO KEEP UP WITH MY SINGING, AND ALTHOUGH I NEVER BECAME A "STAR", LIKE HE THOUGHT I WOULD, I'VE ALWAYS ENJOYED PERFORMING. AND I ALWAYS INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE OF "HIS" SONGS WHEN I SING. WHEN I WAS A DJ , HIS WERE THE ONES I PLAYED THE MOST AND HAD THE MOST REQUESTS FOR. THE SUMMER OF 2010 WHILE VISITING WITH ORLO AND BETTY I HAD A GOOD TIME TALKING ABOUT ALL THE THINGS FERLIN SAID AND DID. IT WAS THEN I FOUND OUT YOU WERE MARRIEDTO FERLIN............I JOKINGLY TOLD THEM I WANTED THEM TO ADOPT ME, SO I COULD HAVE FERLIN AS AN UNCLE!!!!!! MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS, AND MAY YOUR MEMORIES HELP YOU THROUGH THE SEASON. A DEVOTED FAN SINCE THE EARLY 50's E SAUER BRAINERD,MN56401
