I just now learned of Dr. Bryant's (though he always said to call him Billy) passing. He was the best teacher I had at Vandy and one of the most generous and caring people I have ever met. He will be greatly missed.

Billy Bryant set a standard of excellence in everything he did in a very natural humble manner with gentle wit and kindness. We have gained so much from our relationship with our Uncle Bill and miss him very much.

The Richland Place Community will be diminished in wit, humor, knowledge, chuckles, bridge play, historical perspective, service, and friendship with the loss of long-time resident Billy Bryant. He cannot be replaced, but will always be remembered with respect. Our condolences to his loved and loving wife Mary Nelle. Spencer & Anne Johnson

My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of my Uncle, your wonderful husband, father, grandfather. Uncle Bill was a funny smart man and my dad loved him so very much, as we Neices & nephews did. He will be missed. So glad I have the video I took of him telling a joke the last time I got to visit, 1.5 years ago...
