Oh Miss Linda, I will miss you and your wonderful smile. I am so glad I got to visit with you a couple weeks ago. Your strength, courage and positive thinking should be a manual for all cancer patients. I believe that is what kept you here with us longer. GOD had a plan, and I feel part of that plan was for you to show people to never fear anything even in their darkest hour. I love you my dear friend and I am a better person because of you. Thank you for sharing your friendship with me.
Don't worry about your sweet husband, Marmalade shall keep him busy. Rest sweetie and if you get a chance, come see me in my dreams. I will be looking for you.
Dear Wayne, Jamie, & Mallory,
I was so sorry to hear about Linda. I hope that the fond memories you have will keep her near and dear always. Please know that the footprint she left will be shared forward.
Linda exemplified class. Whatever she was involved in, she did with such poise and grace. She was authentic, with a great sense of style and confidence, inspiring those in which she came in contact, raising the bar at every turn. When she entered a room, you knew it. Linda seemed to glide in a room while the rest of us fumbled our way through.
I was fortunate enough to have had Linda in my life as a child and young adult. I love smart, talented, and funny women. She was all of the above. I hope that in some small way I can pay it forward.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Tracey Gregory Howard
Coach, I did not know your wife but I can tell what a great woman she was by the choices she made marrying you. God Bless your family and may his peace conmfort you.
Kindergarten is the first big year, that first big leap into the big, scary world of school. Taking those first steps into a new classroom, I met perhaps the sweetest, kindest lady I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Linda Forehand was a Godsend, the standard by which I judge all Kindergarten teachers, the lady I wish my child, a Kindergartner, had the pleasure of learning from. Now, as an ordained minister and a father of three, I thank my God for the inspiration that Mrs. Linda Forehand was for me. To the Forehand family, thank you for sharing such a wonderful lady with us all, her school kids. Though pain comes in this night of sorrow, joy truly comes in the morning. Give the Lord your yoke of sorrow, and He will give you peace.
Always such fond memories of Mrs. Forehand. My sweet kindergarten and first grade teacher at Goodlettsville Elementary. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Wayne, we are deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Love and prayers, Marsha, Christy, David, and Susan Forehand
Linda hired me to play music for the senior group at Delmas Center in Goodlettsville. She was a wonderful, vivacious person. Full of life and energy and a wonderful dancer. She will always have a spot in my heart. Heaven will be richer with her presence.
My wife Patty and I pray for peace and comfort for you and your family at this time.
The world has lost a bright shining star, my heart goes out to all of her loved ones. I will miss her smile. It always lit up the room. I wish there were words to say to give comfort but all I can say is Linda was very much loved by everyone and she will be missed so very much. May God bless her family and give you strength to get through the coming days
Wayne, I am so sorry for your loss of Linda. She is also a loss to many. I cannot find the words to describe her. She was a special lady and full of fun at all times. She fought a good fight. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
gain. My prayers are with the family at this time.
Coach Forehand, you were my 7th grade teacher at Litton in 1964-65. Teachers often do not realize the life-long impact they have on their students. I feel like I remember all of your stories and remember you talking about your family and I remember the birth of your daughter Mallory. I am so sorry for the loss of your wife. You and she were great Christian examples to all of us. My deepest condolences....Hollis Smith

The following verse was the first thing that came to mind when I learned of Linda's passing. She was a person that I always admired. My prayers to Coach Forehand and family.

I am so saddened to hear of your loss. I went to high school with Mallory. I am lifting your family high in prayer today. May He wrap His arms around you and comfort you during this time.
