It was always a pleasure talking with N.C. at church. He was always interesting and made you think, but always made you laugh, too. His "home going" service was a wonderful tribute to a man with a servant's heart. He will be missed.
The Hibbett Family have been like family to all of us. When I think of Mt.Juliet, I think of this wonderful family! I did a documentary about Mt. Juliet and N.C. was the first person I called to help, which he did. The time spent with him, at his home with all those trains and the history of this great city, I will never forget! Mrs. Hibbett, you are a jewel and we will be here for you always. God Bless.
I have just found out about the loss of N.C. to everyone who knew him. It is with great sadness that I realize I will not see him on this earth again; not hear his stories nor his wisdom; not be subjected to his teasing; not get another big ol' bear hug. My heart grieves for my dear friend, J.B. and the rest of the Hibbett family. He truly made a difference in this world and is irreplaceable. He was a wonderful, caring man who reached out to help wherever he was needed. The only consolation is that he no longer suffers. God bless him and the entire Hibbett family!
My thoughts and prayers are with N.C.'s wife, children and other famiy in their great loss. May each one be comforted and find peace.I have wonderfully fond memories of N.C. and Uncle Dude's family in Mt.Juliet. Jim Hibbett, a first cousin.
Celebrating NC's life, he lived it well. I will cherish my memories forever. NC has meant so much to our family for many years. I can remember seeing him in Donelson and Mt. Juliet and always knew if I needed anything I could call on him. He never forgot a face and I truly loved his stories. He will truly be missed by all. May God continue to comfort you during this time.
Love and Prayers,

NC your good work will be missed.
I am sadden by the passing a NC. He was a wonderful person who spoke not ill will of anyone.
I persuaded him to join Clover Bottom who need such a fine talented person. He made a great contribution over the years to the less fortunate.
Jenny, I join you and your family in your great loss.
A true southern gentleman that was so proud of Mt. Juliet. He always had a kind word and funny story when I saw him through out the years. It didn't matter if it was 1 month or 5 years between visits, he always remembered me and that I went to school with his boys. I consider NC and Mrs Hibbett to be MJ's first family...everyone from there knows and loves them. God Bless and rest in peace NC, I'm proud and honored to have known you.
