Susan and I will never forget having lunch with you and Alvin last fall. How we laughed at old memories of Freed-Hardeman days. Then you graciously invited us back to your home where we continued to reminisce...and laugh even more. It was a great day.
You and Alvin were a perfect couple. Libby, you are blessed with a wonderful family and lots of friends. Allow them to anchor you. You will be in our prayers and will feel lifted up. Lines
from a favorite hymn can comfort. "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning."
There are hard days and easy days. May the easy days wrap you up like a warm blanket and give you peace.

With our love,

Susan and Aimee

We enjoyed having lunch with both of you last fall at the Pub Restaurant. How we laughed at the memories of Freed-Hardeman. Thank you for inviting us to your home after lunch where we continued visiting and yes....more laughter.
Libby, God will lift you up because "The steadfast of the Lord never ceases." You are blessed with a wonderful family and many friends. You will be in our prayers and thoughts.

With love,

Susan and Aimee

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time.

My memory of Pastor Parnell will be that of a kind man, who showed us by example, how God would want us to treat others. He exemplified faith!

Libby, sons and extended family you have my sympathy. What a wonderful God-fearing man---a man of steel and velvet. What a beautiful legacy he has left for you, his church family and his many, many friends. I am confident that he and my Joe are already celebrating his arrival into the arms of Jesus. No more pain--only the very best of everything. Your wonderful memories will sustain you.

Libby, I used to watch Jim drive in and out in his convertible enjoying the deserved good life. I would pray that all his burdens would be eased and he could spend the rest of your lives here on the hill together but God chose him to come early, you see, his help was needed in heaven so rest easy Libby for Jim is preparing you a place and one day you will meet again. much love Ellen Denney,(Tommie),Neighbor

A truly noble person who impacted hundreds of lives in a positive manner. Will be greatly missed, but realize he has entered into the greatest future anyone could desire.
