Gwen and Family,
While on the Internet, I came across the fact that Jim had passed away. I worked with Jim in St. Louis and Nashville and I never met a finer person or boss. He was always honest, upfront and understanding. Even though it has been over 30 years since we worked together, Jim was always someone I wanted to keep track of and follow throughout his career. My condolences to the entire family. Jim truly was one of a kind.

One of the greatest persons I had the honor to meet and work with. Wise, calm, fair, "making ends meet", respecting people and being respected. A true gentleman.
He will be greatly missed.

My sympathy goes out to the family during your time of grief. May God's loving-kindness comfort you and help you through this difficult time. (Psalm 119:50,76)

Gwen and Family, Jim had a profound influence on my life as a business man, leader, and person. He was the brightest person I ever worked with and his persona was that of a polished professional who always knew what to say and always said it with grace. Someone said that Jim Bond was so smooth, he made sandpaper feel like silk!! He was a mentor to me throughout my career, and someone I will always treasure and appreciate. Jim and I used to have lots of fun on the golf course and we both were big fans of the St.Louis Cardinals.

Jim will be sorely missed by all those who loved him and for all those he touched with his brilliance and undeniable charm.

Gwen, I work at Central Parking for over 18 years in their mailroom and during this time I got to know Mr. Bond. He was a good man and he was very kind to me. I will missed him. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Bond Family -- I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I couldn't agree more that he was the consummate gentleman. And a great leader. Jim came to a Martha O'Bryan Center small luncheon a while back and it was so wonderful to see him again. I always appreciated his dedication and how truly thoughtful he always was when we were deciding issues of importance to the Center and the people we serve. My prayers are with you in this time of separation and loss. Wishing you peace,

The obit is extremely well written, it omits the fact that Jim spent at least 12 hours a day playing cares at the SAE house but finished at the top of his engineering class.

007. I will see you in Chapter Eternal.
