I loved Mrs. Mayme. My mom lives at Elmcroft, and it became a better place when Mrs. Mayme arrived. It was always a delight to sit with her and the other Rook players each night—my mom, Julia, was one of the four. She was a blessing to my mom. She was always happy and pleasant. I miss her already.

I loved your Mom as if she were mine. So sorry for your loss. I know she and your Dad are up there talking about old times with my Dad. I will keep you all in my prayers that you might find peace in your memories. Therse Ivey Long Formerly from Nashville.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mamie. Our family and their family have know each other for a long time. She was always the sweetest person. My brother Don Merryman and Sonny played baseball together and my Mother Mary Merryman worked with Mamie at First Baptist Church in Donelson on Wed. nights for a while. She will be missed by all that knew her! Janice (Merryman)Shepherd

Clyde and Mayme were special friends and both will be sadly missed. Heaven is brighter now that they have been reunited. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
