DAILY, Theadore "Ted" Age 88 years old of Springfield, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Springfield, TN on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 2 p.m., with Dr. Tommy Crunk & Bro. Eric Taylor officiating. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He and his business partner founded Cumberland Optical Company in 1959. He was a member of Springfield First United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Al Menah Shrine. He is survived by son, Ed Daily; daughters, Linda (Ki) Robinson, Diane (Craig) Murdoch, Sherry (Lewis) Winn; step-daughter, Linda (Billy) White; 12 grandchildren & 21 great-grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 4-8 p.m., & on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 12-2 p.m., the hour of the service. Interment Robertson County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will serve as Pallbearers. Contributions may be made 'In Memory of Ted Daily' to Springfield First United Methodist Church or Wounded Warriors, c/o AUSTIN BELL FUNERAL HOME, 509 Walnut St., Springfield, TN 37172; (615) 384-1000.

Ted was like a father to Don at Cumberland. Truly a kind and gentle man. Ted and Frances were great friends to our family and we miss them both dearly.
