The day Terry passed I showed Terry Lappin a remarkable picture that I took of He and Tess .. They were looking fabulous.. He told me the next day of the ironic passing
I liked Terry very much and called him about once a year..

Please accept my profound condolences on the loss of your son and brother, Terry. For almost thirty years I have been a close friend of his, having met him initially through my deceased husband, John Knickerbocker. Terry's sudden passing is shocking and I am deeply saddened to lose such a long-time friend. To me, Terry was larger than life. His exuberance and panache made him stand out from the rank and file. He could make the most mundane chore seem magical. No one made me laugh as much or gave me pause to think The only thing I knew for sure was to expect the unexpected. His zest for life, even in the worst of times, inspired conviction. Most of all, I will miss his keen sense of humor, verbal acuity, and mesmerizing stories. As you mourn, so shall I.
