Cyrilla "Sue" Mary Zeman
Kewaunee - Cyrilla "Sue" M. Zeman, 91, formerly of Algoma, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Linden Manor in Kewaunee. She was born January 6, 1930 in Algoma to Henry and Laura (Vandenhouten) Dachelet.
Sue graduated from St. Mary Grade School and the Algoma High School in 1949.
She married Gerald Zeman January 27, 1951.
Sue worked at Herbie's Grill in Algoma, Wood Industry and most of her time was at the Algoma Net Co.
Sue enjoyed watching her kids in all of their sporting events as their cheerleader, she was a avid Packer fan, babysitting, playing cards, reading, visiting with family and friends, going to garage sales with Anna, dancing and going to weddings. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Sue is survived by her two sons Mark (Kathy) Zeman, Manitowoc, Dan (Debbie) Zeman, Algoma, two daughters Yvonne (Dan) Stodola, Manitowoc and Mary (Mike) Meyer, Howard; six grandchildren Danielle (Travis) Lester, Luke Zeman, Rachel (David) Presslein, Zach Zeman, Adam Meyer and Jacob (fiancee' Danielle Voland) Meyer; four great grandchildren Brayden, Everly, Elliott and Maxon; sister Angie (Jack) Paplham; sisters-in-law Gertie Kuehl and Mary Rose Verdegan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald, infant son Michael, in-laws Edward and Frances Zeman, brothers Carl (Milly) Dachelet, Marvin (Shirley) Dachelet and Lloyd (Shirley and Marion) Dachelet, brothers-in-law Lloyd Zeman, Marvin Kuehl and Don Verdegan.
Public visitation will be held, Monday May 10, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bill Swichtenberg officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
The family wants to give as special thank you to Linden Manor especially, Ken, Mary, Kay and the rest of the staff for taking care of Sue for 18 years and Unity Hospice at the end of Sue's life.
