Lisa Lam Banh, 69, was born on February 27, 1952 and raised in My Tho, Vietnam before immigrating to the United States about 40 years ago. She passed away at 3:17 A.M. on November 9, 2021 at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital in Fountain Valley, California after a two-month long battle with multiple infections causing sepsis and recurrent pneumonia that were unfortunate complications after her colectomy surgery. But her health decline is overshadowed by the incredible legacy she had as a wonderful wife, mother of two, grandmother of two, sister of five, and friend of many dozen who gave her utmost love, care, dedication, and generosity to everyone around her. Her warm loving smile and booming voice will be forever missed. She had been living peacefully with her husband and family in Irvine, California for more than 30 years and had recently retired in Spring of 2021 after working hard as an Electronic Technician for 37 years at Alcon Laboratories to put her two sons through all of their schooling over the years. After brief stops in Indonesia and Mississippi starting in 1979, she settled into California and quickly established her life-long career at Alcon after taking a few years to complete her Associate's Degree at Orange Coast College. She always expressed such a labor of love and sacrifice for her family, putting them first by ensuring sure they always had more than enough food to eat and making time to best help with their needs. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn in Cypress, California. Her viewing will be on Tuesday, November 16 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. and her funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 17 at 2 P.M.
