Not sure what to say?

Rest in Peace

I am so saddened to find out that Neil Dougherty had passed away. He was a truly awesome man, who loved the game. I will always remember the times when he worked with the Kansas Special Olympics when they would scrimmage with the athletes. I have a great picture of him and my daughter that will always be cherished. A great man that died way before his time.

I was so saddened to hear of Neil's passing. Sorry my head has been under a rock and I just found out. I coached at Vandy a year during Neils stint there. I thought so much of him as a person... Always upbeat, Always sooo...personable. Kelly as great and awesome as it was to see you at your tournament and catch up, it was worlds more disheartening to hear about your brothers passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of his love ones.

In remembrance of one year of your passing. It's hard to believe it's been a year already. Your memory lives on!

To Neil's immediate family, parents and extended family,
I know that this is a very overdue entry. For that, I am sorry. I am also sorry that I missed his services. I was, as I am sure everybody was, dumbstruck with disbelief--paralyzed in sadness. Know that I hold in my heart and mind, memories of Neil as that young bright eyed little boy to the handsome, talented, loyal man of integrity that he grew to be. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that I and my whole family loved...

RIP Coach D.

Neil and I grew up in Leavenworth... You knew he had that something special when he was very young. That spark, that look, that zest in his eyes. He made all of us very proud. I am in shock hearing of his passing... Our prayers and lifting up go out to his family and friends. Yet another angel on high to watch over us...
