So sorry to hear of Carol Ann's passing. I was shocked to find out that Carol Ann had passed. I came up to New York for Thanksgiving and she was not home and I found the obit online. I will miss her greatly as I enjoyed working with her for many years and enjoyed visiting her when I returned to Corning.

I met Carol in September of 1954 as we both began our freshman year at Nazareth College in Rochester.Along with Willie Mertson we lived with families along East Ave taking care of their children while taking classes at the college. Both Willie and Carol were from Corning, and I was from Elmira. Friday nites were our free nites, and we always caught the Pittsford bus down East Ave, had dinner at the Manhattan restaurant, took in a movie in one of the big theaters, or browsed the department stores, (Formans, Sibleys, or McCurdys- now long gone),and then caught the last bus at midnite back up East Ave to our homes. Memories of long ago. Kathleen Reardon Palmer

I first met Carol Ann back in the old RT Building Days when she worked in the Corporate Controls Group at Corning, I was always impressed by her professionalism and willingness to learn new things, but even more so by her as a person. She somehow managed to remain even tempered, even in the face of total crazyness all around her, and was just a joy to work with.

I am very sorry to learn of her untimely passing.
