I loved my grandfather very much!! When I was a child we would ride up to NY and I'd jump out barefoot with no jacket in winter just to get me a hug. I loved dancing with him to bluegrass. My sister and I would sleep in the living room and my grandpa would try to not wake us but I'd hear the creek in the floor and jumped up to get my hot cocoa while he had his coffee and told me stories. Those were some of my best memories riding to the VFW to hear the old war stories they would tell while I drank my cherry coke at the bar. when he would take me around town showing me all the different places. He was the best grandpa he could be!!His stories could go on for days and you never knew what was gonna come out of his mouth because he was so out spoken but it was always hilarious. I love you grandpa so so much and you will be missed. RIP love you always ❤
