Martha was one of the most kind and caring individuals our family knew. Our three children, Emelia, Eve and Ross just adored her as Kerry and I did. In fact, Martha's last student may have been our middle child Eve. Just about five years ago, Martha helped teach Eve how to read. Martha helped me in my first race for the state legislature and was a voice I listened to after elected. She was a friend to our family and an individual we loved and cared for deeply. Martha did so much work for the poor through SNAP in Spokane and a staple in the Catholic Church. We will miss you Martha, you made our lives better.

Martha was a wonderful neighbor and dear friend. She provided support and encouragement to our whole family and told the best stories!! We think of her often.

Martha was a dear, long time friend. She was fun to party with and travel with. In connection with her friend, Janet, we laughed and talked and enjoyed the best that life has to offer. Her enthusiasm will be missed. All our love, Greg Richards and Con Mealey
