So sorry to hear of his passing.

Ed Stevens (Zeus) just called me today with this sad news. I had talked with Mike just a month ago and he did not mention any of his health problems but clearly was still grieving from the recent loss of Mike Jr.
Mike, Zeus, and I were close friends growing up in Hammondsport from the 6th grade on. Mike and I were roommates at Cornell and joined the same fraternity. I went into the AF and he into the Navy but I had occasion to see him over the years when I returned to H'sport to visit my parents. My wife, Nancy, and I joined with him and Chris for their marriage in Virginia Beach. Had not seen him since but did have several phone calls with him over the years. Mike had a profound and constructive influence on me in our earlier years together and was a man of good character and intelligence for whom I had great respect. I pray that the Lord will comfort all members of his family at this time and keep the positive memories of him alive with them in the days ahead. Respectfully, Tom Tuttle
