She was my mum Zeila's sister, when I was a youngster up at Cobbannah up near Dargo she and Uncle Max plus the girls came to visit. It was a joyous time for us all. Then again over the years I caught up with Aunty June a few times and as family goes it doesn't feel like the time has passed. When the Internet came in she was quite good on the email until she couldn't use it anymore. Recent years I have kept in touch by letter as she loved to receive one in the mail. Last time I spoke to her was Xmas 2016 that is when she was diagnosed with dementia. Facebook has been a saving grace for me as I have kept in touch with each of my cousins Aunty June's girls, it has been wonderful as we feel close to one another, sort of like my sisters and I.
Rest in Peace Aunty June, you will never be forgotten. Your sisters girls Pam, Pat, Pauline and Peggy xxxxx
