You and my father looked a lot alike. I came to your first book signing. I lived in Tampa at the time. When your father was a diplomat and you were a teen or pre-teen, you went overseas on the ship Pvt. Elden H. Johnson. When my father got transferred to Spain, we went on the same ship. We boarded 12/24/1956. I have always had the greatest respect for you. Your family is in my prayers.

My sympathy to the General's family I never met him, but fought under his command in the gulf war. I was in the Navy, serving off the USS Ranger CV-61 battle group echo. Farewell.
