It broke my heart to pieces when I learned that my good ol buddy Herman Rowlett passed away. I will miss him a lot. I would give anything to hear his voice one more time or hug him. Go fly high Herman!! Miss u ol buddy!! Love ya!

I just saw his obituary online in the Lebanon Enterprise. Mr. Rowlett was my 6th grade teacher there in 1973. He was one of the best teachers I had in my many years of schooling. Even in middle age, I can easily recall a great deal of ancient history because he taught it so well...wonderful stories of the Phoenicians and the alphabet, battles, and voyages of discovery. He was a gifted person and my heart goes out to his partner and family

Just heard of Herman's passing and was flooded with many wonderful memories of a most remarkable man. Reading the obituary I smiled at the lengthy list of important work he engaged in Baton Rouge after what would have already been a lifetime of work in Kentucky (for most people). But not for Herman! His Louisiana list would be a lifetime's contribution for the average person. The world is certainly a better place from his presence. Kenton, we wish you condolences for your loss and affirmations for the future. Please contact us when convenient.

Herman impacted each and every person he met. Maybe even electrified us a bit. He will be missed. But what a blessing it was to know him.
Kenton, many prayers and blessings to you most of all. Sorry Laurel & I couldn't make the service last week, but our hearts were there.

You have our prayers and sympathy. Hermon was one of my all time favorite bass singers. I sang with him in college.
