I just heard of dear Papa Toms passing. The entire Crescent City Farmers Market on a weekly basis misses Papa Tom. May the good memories get you through these troubled times. Love The Shrimp Lady Kay Brandhurst Slidell LA

Papa Tom will be sorely missed among the market community. His genuine warmth for everyone that came to his market "window" helped build the farmers markets in New Orleans. Lucille, I hope the respect and admiration we have for Papa Tom and for you can be felt over the miles along with our gratitude for the time we were able to spend with you on many market days....My thoughts are with you at this time.

We are so very sorry to learn of Papa Tom's death. In New Orleans at the Farmers Market community, he pumped so many good spirits into our efforts during those early days (even organizing the Jambalya for Jim with that incredible rig). Our hearts go out to Lucile and the rest of the family. Thinking of you, Bonnie and Richard
