All who knew her will miss her, she touched so many lives in so many ways. Her cheerful, busy and adventurous spirit was a striking feature of her life and her attitudes. She provided me with extra love and attention and di all she could to help fill the void when my mother, her older sister, died at such a young age. She has filled the role of granny for my children, and was also much appreciated by Robert.

I have so many memories that fly through my head - staying up til the early morning to finish off hems on formal dresses, wedding dresses for her daughters; decorating the wedding cake for rob and me; cooking many magnificent meals (ah- the sago plum pudding was heavenly!) including one up on the Tablelands in Queensland in the caravan that she, Norman and Tom traveled in for some months; looking after Bec, Jess, Rachel and Tim so that Rob and I could have our first holiday without children after 11 years of parenting.

She was a woman who lived life to the full. I sometimes felt exhausted after reading a letter telling of her current projects or having chatted with her on the phone.

And so I give thanks that she has been a part of my life.
