A respected and visionary educator and leader of this school from 1973 to 1988.
The Lowther Hall Community
is saddened to hear of Joan Gardes passing on November 12 and extends deepest
sympathy to her family.

On behalf of the Lowther Hall Old Grammarians Association we give thanks for the life of Mrs Garde, our Principal and from 1973 to 1988. We were saddened to hear of Mrs Gardes passing on November 12 and extend our deepest sympathy to her family. Many personal stories have been shared on the Lowther Hall Old Grammarians Facebook page. An educator with great vision and passion for the teaching of Science and Mathematics.
