An inspirational Doctor who helped us set up Cardiac Rehabilitation in Bairnsdale many years ago and to his credit the program is still going strong.
So many times he came here to support us!! A remarkable life. One well spent but will be greatly missed. One of lifes true great men! Rest in Peace

I am a cardiologist from Pakistan. Many years ago I went to Australia for a training in Cardiac Rehabilitation and met Dr. Goble in Melbourne. We had a special connection that I am unable to explain, which I think originated from mutual trust. He understood all the problems I had to face starting Cardiac Rehabilitation in Karachi I guess because he had traveled extensively and knew about other countries very well.I am deeply sorry to know about his demise. May Allah grant him eternal peace in the hereafter.

Dr Alan Goble was a great doctor and human being. If only medicine had a few more like him, it might have a more human face and much healthier patients. I know you're going to miss him a lot.

It sounds like his going was relatively merciful. He experienced his life to the full and he was surrounded by love at the end - who could ask for more?
