June was like no other woman I know a true friend to all she knew and the perfect hostess even in a caravan! A very elegant lady, so kind and thoughtful and she always turned adversity into a humorous story to share with her friends. I will always treasure the beautiful flower arrangement she created for our wedding reception. She will live on in our hearts forever in fact I think I will plant a pink rose in my garden to remind me of June.

I have just heard about the death of June Rogers who was an extraordinary woman. Someone whose great warmth and charm was a tremendous example of a life well lived. She created the most wonderful homes and to visit was always a great experience. Her wonderful food and sense of comfort from barley water to long meals at her beautiful oak table . Her sense of fun was never away and she had a wonderful laugh. She had great strength and although life was not always as expected ... all of these qualities she passed on to her children. She was an unforgettable character and my life is much richer for having known her and Sam when I was growing up. I am sorry that I wont be able to attend the service on Friday. My love to Mandy, Lock and Tim at this time.
