As a young art student studying the visual arts I was given an assignment to interview Neil Clerehan in his home.

Over forty years ago I went armed with my portable cassette player with a series of questions.

I learned a lot about the arts from this one hour interview as did the rest of our class.

Well spoken and a messenger of great creativity towards architecture and living in the Australian community.

Best wishes to his family and close friends.

Thank you Neil Clerehan a gentleman I was happy to know for just a short time in my life.

Condolences to Sonia and all the Clerehan family. I knew Neil and of Neil, since growing up as a little boy in South Yarra. My mother, Gwen, was a great friend of his, for nearly all their adult lives.
Neil spoke with grace and trademark humour at her funeral, for which we were all very grateful.

Neil will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
