Thank you, Renate, so much for all wonderful memories from East Africa, in 1959. We had such a great time together those 6 months and I am so happy that we have stayed in contact all these years, and that now our friendship will live through our kids. It was a long time ago we met, but I must say that those days with you at your coffee farm, and our 6 week safari were highlights in my life. I will never forget those times. thank you so much. Much love, your friend Marie Roos

I have known of Renate and her husband all my life. They were close friends with my parents long ago and I have heard so many stories from their time together. They shared unforgettable memories from East Africa in 1959 and kept in touch ever after, writing Christmas letters to eachother between Sweden and Australia every year. I met Renate twice when visiting Australia, and I am happy to be a friend of Jutta now. Renate was such a beautiful and insightful person, and I really felt we connected. I wish I could have spent more time with her. She was such a unique person. My thoughts go to her daughters and grandchildren. Rest in peace, dear beautiful Renate. Much love, Anna
