You were a foundation cartoonist with Joan Rosser for the "VSTA News" a great union newspaper for secondary teachers. You introduced a cartoonist culture as part of the lively weekly union paper. And your cartoons were great to the point with lots of political punch. I recall your participation in the many editions and your great indepth knowledge of education issues. Great times in those days and you were a star.

We were all cartoonists at Syme together, but secretly, we all wanted to be Ron Tandberg. There's laughter in heaven today.

It was a pleasure to work with you for a brief time From The Age News Desk. Your work was inspiring, innovative and always the first thing I would read
On your many page 1 appearances. Rest In Peace.

Oh Ron. What fun we used to have back then in the 70s when we hadnt yet assumed the mantle of Age. Ill always remember your red hair, chuckle and the twinkle in your eye not to mention all those collegial dinners at the Great Western pub between deadlines. Time passes, memories stay alive. You will be missed. Wendy
