Tommie and Cookie, you both have my deepest sympathy and great gratitude from me and my family, for sharing your mother with us. She was a beautiful, knowledgeable person, who taught us all a lot. God has a good place in his kingdom for her.

Few people have the ability to treat every person as a personal friend, while making sea changes to the betterment of mankind. Lindy did that through her personal advice as well as through her service to our country. Her gracious presence and genuine love of all will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Lindy. Prayers to your family.

Lindy was a great supporter of our Community, the Eucharistic Missionaries of St. Dominic, and our ministry.
May she be enjoying the fullness of God's life and love.

Cokie and Tommy, You dont's remember me but I am the daughter of Eddie Hebert who was in Congress with your father. He and Mr. Boggs went to Congress at the same time in 1940. He served for many years with your Mother. He was very fond of them both. Both your parents came to parties at my Mother and Dad's house. Ms. Lindy knew me most of my life, When my Daddy died your Mother was the first person to call me that night. She said that she would take care of the people who would be flying in from D.C. for the funeral. She was at the Church when my famly arrived and she made the day so much easier for me. I will always remember her kindness, that is who she was. I lived near her in the Quarter from 1982 to 1992. I visited her and saw her often at Mass at the Catheral. I just want to share these memories with you all. I know your sister, she and I were closer in age. Ms. Lindy was a lovely person. She really was a good friend to me. She is the last of that decade. That generaton of people were very special in our country's history. With sympathy, Dawn Hebert
