Dear Mrs. Scott, I'm so saddened to hear this news. May the Good Lord take hold of your hand during this time. I met Billy at the Tamarack on Jan 1st this year when I performed that day.We exchanged cd's and we spoke about our music and it was a nice conversation about us both being from WV. I thought how cool that such a Legend came by to talk to me and listen to my music. He was so nice and I enjoyed talking with him. He sure made this country singer feel good. I was just getting to know Billy, he called me and let me know about his birthday party. I wish I could have been there. What a true Legend he was he will be Greatly missed, Sincerely, Billy Payne
